Starting boxing classes here was my best decision this year. I’ve tried many gyms, but Outsider is fresh, friendly, and looks great on Insta. Free parking, showers, and towels make things super convenient. Classes are intense and better than CrossFit. Coach Levi is amazing, prices are great, and it’s near cool stores and cafés. You won’t regret trying this gym!

Omg! I went just for a trial this morning… it was one of best work outs I’ve had. I’m 55 yrs old and am visiting from nyc and Hike ( the trainer) accommodated everyone to their level !55 min went so fast and I felt great! Definitely will go back every-time I visit. The staff was so friendly and generous. The place I was clean and in good shape.

Do I need any prior boxing or fitness experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our classes are beginner-friendly, and our coaches tailor workouts so everyone—from newbies to seasoned boxers—feels welcome and challenged.

What should I wear or bring to my first class?

Wear comfortable workout clothes and supportive sneakers. If you have your own gloves or wraps, bring them along; otherwise, we have first-timer loaners or you can purchase on-site.

Do I have to spar or get hit?

Not unless you want to. Most of our group classes focus on fitness, technique, and bag work. Sparring is completely optional and usually reserved for advanced or specialized sessions.

Is boxing safe for me if I’ve never done a contact sport before?

Yes! Our coaches emphasize proper form and technique to minimize risk. We also have non-contact training options, so you can learn to box safely at your own pace.

How often should I attend classes to see results?

We recommend at least 2–3 sessions per week for noticeable improvements in fitness and technique. Of course, more frequent training can accelerate your progress.

Are your classes co-ed?

Yes! Our group classes are mixed, so you’ll train alongside men and women of all fitness backgrounds.

Do you offer 1-on-1 personal training?

We do. If you want more personalized attention or have specific goals, our boxing coaches can create a custom training plan just for you.

What if I have a previous injury or a health condition?

Always consult with your doctor first. Then let our coaches know about any limitations so we can modify exercises and ensure you train safely.

How quickly can I learn basic boxing techniques?

You’ll pick up fundamentals—like stance, jab, and cross—fairly quickly. True mastery takes consistent practice, but you’ll see improvements in just a few sessions.

Do I need my own boxing gloves and hand wraps?

You don’t need them on Day 1. We have loaners for first-timers. Eventually, most members prefer getting their own gloves and wraps for hygiene and comfort.

Will boxing classes help me build muscle or just burn fat?

Boxing is a fantastic workout for both building lean muscle and burning fat. It challenges your upper body, core, and lower body, so you’ll see overall toning and strength gains.

How loud is the music/atmosphere during class?

We keep the energy high with motivational music, but it won’t drown out the instructors. Expect a fun, upbeat environment that keeps you pushing through the workout.

What ages do you accept for classes?

Our adult group classes are generally 16+ or 18+, depending on local guidelines. We also offer youth programs (if applicable) for kids and teens—ask us for details!

What membership options do you have?

Is there parking available or easy public transportation?
